Why do north indians hate south indians and vice versa?WHY DO S.I CONSIDER THEMSELVES SUPERIOR TO N.I?

yeah, whenever i say that i am maharashtrian, some people start thinking differently or behaving differently, people will always start to generalizing or categorizing everyone they see, but not everyone is like that so i don't care about their views for me and you shouldn't worry about them too!!
