Don't you think primary results actually deter Americans' democratic right to choose the best person for prez?

i.e., some viable candidates drop out because they aren't the top choice in a primary; and then we don't actually get the same opportunity to select a candidate, as say, someone in Iowa/New H, or SC, etc.
