Need help with different models of the tiger tank ?

Am interested in the design of the German Tiger Tank. They had a very short front end to them and the bottom had a slight slope to it. In the movie "Kelly's heros", they refered to the tiger tanks as being model 6, which had a very short box looking front to it. Was this a Hollywood design or actual refined model of the Tiger ?
