Why are Libertarians overrepresented on R&S?

You just saw a cross-sampling of people who responded to a certain question, and my guess is that it was worded (unintentionally, perhaps) just so it would catch the attention of mostly libertarian types. I would argue that more people are libertarian than they realize (particularly Republicans), but the fact that so many responded has nothing to do with the number of libertarians on Yahoo! Answers or online. If I asked, "What does Buddha say about murder?" Most of the people who respond will likely be Buddhist or knowledgeable of Buddhism. That doesn't mean that the whole world is Buddhist.
