Is faith by its nature is blind?

Don't drop it! It's a good topic, just a little meaty. Yes, faith CAN be blind, but it doesn't always have to be. Oftentimes, faith is based on experience. Example: I was instantaneously healed of a very serious medical condition in a prayer service some years ago, when no doctor's medical intervention had helped at all. Because of that, and because I've heard of and seen many such examples, I have faith in God, and believe He can do all things. If you think of faith that way, it's not illogical or irrational at all.
