Satisfaction about hearing aid?????????

do u think hearing aid is best for deaf people ? is it best for profound hearing impaired people ? I am profound deaf(above 80 % loss of both ears)but i do not use sign language. I have the best hearing aid but it does not suit me. i can hear with hearing aid but can not understand. now i am without hearing aid. i am studying in graduation in normal college without hearing aid. i have no problem without hearing aid. I hate hearing aids because these feel me depressed. but my sister wants that i should wear hearing aids. I can do everything and roam freely without hearing aid. can u guide me ?
